Hi people, i wanted to start a little on forum...
i have a problem with this challenge...i don't know if i'm on the right track so i'll ask here for help.
On the .wav file there are 4 chords played, and if i'm right it's E, C#, F# and B in that order. Since the challenge says it starts with F that would turn E->F, C#->D and so on, but when i enter it (small case of course) it says wrong...what am i doing wrong?
Thanks and happy holidays to everyone!

Hi,
I hope it will be not too much. So, you are on the right track, except the chords you wrote, are wrong. Take guitar or another instument (or midi editor) and play them and you will see, they are wrong :) But remember the "f" hint in correct way, after you will find the correct chords.

Hope that helps :) ..and if that's too much, feel free to edit this post...

Hmm...i played it over and over and the chords are E, C#, F# and B. And when you go up for a note you get F, D, G, C but when i enter it it isn't right...well it doesn't matter, i'll try it again after some time...thanks for help anyway

Hey,
I had the same problem.
With standard pitch (A4=440Hz) it's E Cis Fis B
and when we transpose it a half tone upwards we get F D G C.

But fortunately there aren't so many words you can build with the given parameters.
And so I finally solved it by "guessing" or rather I had the feeling that it has to be that word . If you watch LOST you should also ;)

Thanks for the message. I am aware that the notes are not quite correct on here (I have perfect pitch) even when transposed.

I will get around to fixing it at some point.

ok fixed it.

Easier a little because no transposition is needed, harder though because ive used chords rather than single notes and not all chords are in root position. some are first inversion, some are 2nd.

Oh, I need some clarification, because I can't get it right:

Is there 4 or 5 chords in total (including starter f)?

What is the solution's format?
Code: Select all
xxxx

or
Code: Select all

Or some other way?

is the knowing that it is a word a hint enough? :)
